The KU-GETPPP Ulsan⋅Busan Workshop, held from April 25th to 27th, 2024, in Ulsan and Busan, provided energy experts and students with significant hands-on experience and knowledge. On the first day, attendees visited Approtrium, where they learned about the processes of hydrogen production from LPG and LNG and the technology for refining high-purity hydrogen. This visit offered a substantial understanding of the techniques used by Korea's largest hydrogen producer and supplier.

The second day began with a tour of Korea Southern Power (KOSPO), where participants learned about power plant operations, various energy production methods, and strategies for sustainable development. The detailed explanations on thermal and renewable energy generation offered deep insights into future energy policies and technological advancements. Additionally, the visit to Eco Delta Smart City (EDC) in Busan showcased real-world applications of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies in urban settings. Participants also explored the Eco Delta Smart Village, experiencing firsthand how smart technologies are integrated into modern residential districts.

This workshop served as an invaluable opportunity for participants to deeply understand the latest technologies and strategies in the energy sector, preparing them for future industry challenges.​
