The 1st GETPPP Network Event was held​ at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on Apri 29, 2016. The event brought together over 50 students, professors, and professionals from both the private and public sectors to build collaborations across sectors bringing together academia, private enterprise, and public service. 

The Green School's Vice-Dean Professor Donghwan Kim kicked off the event with welcome remarks. The opening address was delivered by Parliamentarian Iljong Sung (성일종)​.  ​The Keynote Presentation was delivered by the ​ President and CEO of ReCarbon Inc., Jay Kim. GETPPP Program Director, Professor Sungjin Kang, provided an update on the status of the GETPPP and the partnerships that are being developed with private and public institutions. ​
