Student orientation was held on February 27, 2017 for the new incoming GETPPP students. Numbering the same as the inaugural class of 2016, the 2017 class of eight GETPPP students differs from last year's students with the inclusion of African students. The orientation included a pizza lunch and presentation about Korea University and the necessary information for living and studying in Korea. The KU student mentors were also in attendance to introduce themselves to the new students.
