The 2026 KER International Conference, hosted by the Korean Economic Association, was held in Jeju from June 21 to 23, 2026. On June 22, KU-KIST Green School and KU-GETPPP delivered presentations in Session B6 under the theme “Green Energy Transition in Developing Economies.”
The session featured KU-GETPPP alumni Dayan Karunarathna, Jane Mbogo, and Adrianus, as well as researcher Nguyen Ngoc Trung. Dayan presented on green hydrogen mobility in Sri Lanka; Jane on electricity demand forecasting in Kenya; Adrianus on green investment and economic transition in Indonesia; and Trung on digital capabilities and innovation among Vietnamese firms.
The session provided an opportunity to share the energy transition challenges facing developing economies and explore possibilities for international research collaboration. |
