Seminar & Events

On November 11, GETPPP students went on a field trip to K-water in Daejeon, the main implementing agency of the Busan Delta Eco City(smart water city).

When GETPPP students arrived, K-water briefly explained about their smart water management and showed K-water's integrated distribution management center. K-water gave a demonstration of an optimized water monitoring system which allows them to take preemptive actions against natural disaster.

Subsequently, K-water introduced their ongoing projects - Busan Delta Eco City and Smart Village - and elaborated on the background, scale, technology, progress, expected effects, and future plans of those projects.

Throughout the trip, students were able to learn about project development and technologies on a smart water city as well as K-water's know-how on project implementation. Moreover, the field trip opened the gate for joint development and continuous cooperation between K-water and the students.
