On 14 March 2025, a total of 14 students and mentors from Korea University's GETPPP program visited the National Palace Museum of Korea, located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, for a meaningful field trip. The visit was designed to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the history and traditional culture of the Korean royal family. As the students explored the museum's
various exhibitions, they had the opportunity to gain a vivid understanding of
the historical context and cultural characteristics of Korea through the
history of the Joseon Dynasty and the royal artefacts, artworks, and household
items. Through the museum's systematic and in-depth exhibits, they were able to
gain a new appreciation for the value and historical significance of the royal
culture, especially through direct observation of the royal attire and items
used in various royal events.
