​On Monday, December 11th, 2017 GETPPP students participated in the NEO seminar on economic development. NEO (내일을 위한 오늘) is an organization that brings young people together to discuss and debate important topics affecting society and the world. The seminars provide a venue to present and share ideas, giving young leaders an opportunity to develop and network as young leaders and professionals. Distinguished professionals and leaders are also invited to provide comments and guidance to the presenters and discussants. Former Minister of Education, Science, and Technology, Ju-Ho Lee, and KU Green School and Economics Professor Sung Jin Kang were in attendance. 

The topic of this seminar was on economic development, looking at the success and challenges of Korea and the opportunities for the developing world. GETPPP student Enkhtuvshin Ganbaatar from Mongolia presented about the opportunities and challenges that country is facing in the energy sector and  Mohamad Hamzi Abdul Azziz​ discussed about Malaysia's plan towards a more sustainable future.
